The Windsor Democratic Party is putting delegations together to the State Democratic Convention, the First District Congressional Convention, the Greater Windsor Probate Judge convention, and to the 2nd and 7th Senatorial and 5th and 60th House District Conventions. Any registered Democrat in Windsor is eligible to serve. Serving as a delegate is a great way to be directly involved in the candidate selection process, and to meet other committed Democrats from the region and state. The state convention, which endorses candidates for U.S. Senate, Governor, and the other state constitutional offices, is always exciting and is a classic old-school political experience. It will take place during the day on Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7, while the other conventions are on evenings in the following weeks. An orientation will be provided for both first-time and veteran delegates.
