Vote Yes July 14th

Who can vote on July 14th?

Any registered voter.

Any US citizen who owns property in town that is assessed at more than $1000 (house, car, etc) may vote at Town Hall on July 14th.  You must go to the Registrar’s office on the lower level of Town Hall with an ID.

How do I register to vote?

Go to Town Hall before Mon July 13th at noon.  The Registrar’s office is on the lower level.  If the Registrar’s office is not open, you can register at the Town Clerk’s office 8am-5pm on the main level.

How do I get an absentee ballot

Absentee ballots will be available in the Town Clerk’s office beginning later this week.

If someone is unable to pick up an absentee ballot themselves during the regular hours of Town Hall (8am-5pm) an application for a ballot may be picked up another individual.  The name of the person picking up the application is recorded.  The application is then brought back, the ballot is issued and can be taken to the voter and returned by the same person.  Absentee ballots must be returned to Town Hall by 5pm Mon July 13th.  Due to the short time before the referendum ballots can not be mailed to voters.
